The LACPA Disaster Response Committee is currently accepting registrations for our upcoming pro bono Horses & Healing retreat on Sunday, July 20 at The Healing Equine Ranch [a 501(c)3 organization] in Agoura Hills. It is designed for wildfire survivors who have lost their homes, were displaced, or had children whose schools were lost due to the fires. This event has been funded by the LACPA Foundation.

This powerful half-day event includes:

Somatic relaxation to calm the nervous system

Equine-assisted learning for emotional resilience and connection

A facilitated listening circle to share and process experiences in a safe, supportive space

The retreat runs from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM, and is open to individuals ages 9 and up. Exceptions may be made for younger children who are well-behaved and accompanied by a responsible adult.
