Hi Colleagues,
The LACPA Assessment SIG Meeting will be held today, Monday, Apr 20, from 12-1 PM. 
Our planned Topic is: Conducting School-Based Assessments (FBA, Psychoeducational, ERMHS): What are they and how do you do them?
 
For those of you who are on the APA Div 42 listserv, there's a recent exchange of information that directly pertains to this topic. Even if you only do private assessments, if you work with K-12, this is information to be aware of (BG opinion).
 
Do you conduct assessments that are used in schools? Do you wish to expand your practice and include FBAs and ERMHS in the services you offer? Do you understand how school-based assessments differ from traditional psychodiagnostic assessments?
Come join us and let's share our pooled expertise on these topics. This meeting is open to all LACPA Members and Nonmembers (Invite your colleagues!). You may claim CPD Credit (self-audited) under the Peer Consultation provision. Per our policy, your camera must be on to attend.
