Category: Special Interest Groups

Topic: Intersections and Differences of Gender Dysphoria and Body Dysmorphia

Often Gender Dysphoria and Body Dysmorphia are used interchangeably in mental health spaces. It is important to differentiate and discern the differences and similarities that our clients may be experiencing. This workshop will discuss the differences and similarities in order to better serve our clients. Along with psychoeducation and case studies, participants will have time to ask questions and discuss what they are recognizing in their practices.
