Hello LACPA!
https://form.jotform.com/242986041634157
If you're curious about the Flash Technique for treating trauma, join us for our next Trauma SIG meeting on Wednesday, November 13th from 12pm-1pm. Dr. Catherine Smith and I will be leading us through an Introduction to the Flash Technique. If you are new to the Flash Technique, this brief overview will not be sufficient to practice the Flash Technique. However, we will be discussing the fundamentals of the Flash Technique, best practices, and resources on where to get more training/certification.
RSVP here to receive the Zoom link.
Dr. Catherine Smith’s practice is trauma-informed & inclusive: neurodivergent friendly, LGBTQIA friendly & well-suited to addressing relational patterns associated with experiences of abuse &/or emotional neglect in childhood. Her pre- & postdoc training in psychodynamic (intersubjective) therapy forms the backdrop of her approach, which also includes techniques to support nervous system regulation via both “top down” & “bottom up” processing (i.e., TIST, DBT, NARM & SSP).
Dr. Kristoffer Park received his training working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. He specializes in working with those navigating complex trauma and abuse, family and cultural conflict, neurodivergence, and the Asian/immigrant American experience. He is fluent in CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, DBT, PCIT, and Mindfulness-Based Interventions. Contact: https://form.jotform.com/242986041634157 |
