The Board of Psychology representative attends the meetings, three four times a year.
Meetings are generally one and a half to two days in length and are currently held on
Thursdays and Fridays. Meeting locations alternate between Northern and Southern
California. Meetings are webcast by the Department of Consumer Affairs. The video
recordings are posted to the BOP website. The meeting structure consists of closed and
open sessions. The representative attends the open sessions. The meeting format
alternates between Committee Meetings and Board Meetings, with individual committees
reporting to the Board as a whole regarding the substance of their meetings. The
Representative selectively attends Committee meetings of interest for some or all of the
committees. The representative acts as a conduit between the Board of Psychology and
LACPA.
