MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
New members must be approved by the LACPA Board of Directors at regular monthly meetings.
Please note you will not have LACPA Listserv or Find a Therapist Directory access until approval is complete.
Your application must be at the highest level for which you are qualified.

Membership Refund Policy
All LACPA members are able to resign from the association at any time. Refunds for membership fees are available only during the first 30 days of joining. Refunds are not available to members who, during their first 30 days of membership, have received membership discounts to LACPA events. If you wish to cancel your membership within the first 30 days and have not attended any paid LACPA events, please contact the LACPA office in writing at [email protected]

Doctorate Degree in Psychology from a Board of Psychology Approved Institution, Licensed Psychologist, or Diplomate of American Board of Professional Psychology

Post-Doctoral/Pre-Licensure $65
Recent doctoral graduate, within the past seven years. Maximum two years at this level.
CE Credits are not available in this category.
Early Career Member First and Second Year $129 with Find a Therapist $179
Have received doctorate within the past seven years, maximum of two years at this level.
Find a Therapist Web search is available to only California BOP Licensed Psychologists in this category.
Early Career Member Third and Fourth Year $194 with Find a Therapist $244
Have received doctorate within the past seven years, maximum of two years at this level.
Find a Therapist Web search is available to only California BOP Licensed Psychologists in this category.
Affiliate Member $145 with Find a Therapist $195
Holds Master's degree in a mental health field. OR Is a professional in a field other than psychology who wishes to support LACPA activities.

Undergraduate Student Member $47
Students must submit proof of current student status with the application or via email or fax. We accept class schedules, datasheets, or student ID cards as long as your name, the school's name, and the current school semester is listed.

Graduate Student Member $47
Pre-Doctoral graduate students in psychology must submit proof of current student status with the application or via email or fax. We accept class schedules, datasheets, or student ID cards as long as your name, the school's name, and the current school semester is listed.

Lives and works out of Los Angeles County

LACPA member for at least 15 years and reached the age of 70
